Our Stories

Steve White, an employee of Karmax for the past 12 years, is not a person who enjoys going to the doctor.  However, recently when he was experiencing severe pain in his abdomen, he made the decision to come to the Emergency Department at Milton District Hospital.  From the time that he arrived, Steve was impressed by the quality of care that he received at MDH.  “They reacted so quickly to the situation. Almost immediately, I was taken for a CT scan and received a diagnosis.  All of my health care providers were up front and professional.  The whole time I was there, I felt like they were taking good care of me” Steve was treated by Dr. Nathan Wong who addressed all of his concerns about his health.  Most importantly, Steve appreciated the care that he received from all of the staff at Milton District Hospital.  He says, “They treated me like a person.  Every staff member, from Dr. Wong to the person who delivered my food, took the time to do the things that would make me feel better.  There is no better feeling when you are at the hospital.”
