Ways to Give
Ladies Giving Circle
Our Mission
The founders of the Ladies Giving Circle, Lindsay Robertson and Sandra Stewart, are passionate about healthcare in our community, and believe that a group of women can make a measurable impact at Milton District Hospital. They envisioned an initiative where contributors work collaboratively to achieve real impact.
With that vision in mind, the MDHF Ladies Giving Circle was created. An inclusive group of like-minded women who, together, are making a real impact on the health of the community – by directly investing in specific, purposeful healthcare priorities at Milton District Hospital.
Our Membership
The Giving Circle works within a network of social collaboration. Members are invited to two primary social events annually where they network and build their understanding of our community’s healthcare needs.
In late Fall, a year-end allocation event where hospital staff present two unique funding priorities in urgent need of community support. Circle Members have a chance to question, learn and interact with those working closely with the proposed equipment. At the conclusion of the presentations, Circle Members collectively decide which needs to support through a voting process. Voting will be kept open for one week after the event for non-attending members to still participate.
In early Summer, there is an opportunity for Circle Members to connect & celebrate with a more informal social event. The group joins together to hear about their collective donation at work, hospital updates and has an opportunity to celebrate the impact they are making within the community .
Individual membership starts at a $600 annual investment, which will enable the group to collectively support high priority needs at Milton District Hospital.
